I'm Outta Here! (in 48 hours)

I'm turning in a day early here. Heading down to Atlantic City, NJ on Friday for a 1 night stopover, then onto Ocean City, NJ for a family vacation. A family vacation that now also includes my sister's in-laws, their daughter, their other daughter and her husband and a couple they know. I think the peace and quiet may be in somewhat short supply. At least I won't look as Casper the Friendly Ghostish when I get back.
See everyone on August 10th!

Wow, have a good time. When I was but a young'un, we went every year for a week to Ocean City NJ. I remember a lot of mini-golf, and many trips walking back to the hotel alone while everyone else was on the beach cause I had sand in my shorts and it was grinding against the boys like a cheese grater.

May your trip be cheesegrater sand free.

Polt: I marvel at your ability to take any random topic and have it relate to your genitals.

FDot, Mama Polt always told me everyone had their own individual special gift, skill or talent. I'm pretty sure she wouldn't have thought mine to be what it is, but there you have it. :)

OH! And sunscreen! Don't forget the sunscreen! And apply it liberally!

PS
(see, there ya go, a post without a single solitary references to my genitals!) :)

True...if one discounts the post script.

No worry about sunscreen, I use the highest SPF I can find, which this time is 80. It takes 20 minutes to apply since it's so thick. Barring that, I'll use mayonnaise.

I usually take vacations to get away from my family, but to each their own, I guess.

Have a wonderful time!!

Bluebeard?!?!?! I wrote my 25-page senior English capstone essay on that story. I focused on Angela Carter's retelling ("The Bloody Chamber") and how she wrote it in a gendered context that reverses the roles of antagonist and protagonist! If you get a ticket for it, you must post a blog about it so I can relive my nerdy English major memoriez some mo!
